Betty Naomi Ross Dickard, 75, wife for 57 years to Don V. Dickard died Monday, January 16, 2017 at her home in Liberty.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late J. B. and Brodie Ables Ross. She was a retired employee with the Pickens County School District. She and her husband enjoyed farming and was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Sandra (Clifford) Nabors of Liberty; son, Joey Dickard of Liberty; sisters, Florence O'Neal and Pauline Gilstrap both of Norris; grandchildren, Brandy Porter, Bret Nabors and Adam Dickard; and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she predeceased by a brother, Jack Ross; and sisters, Inez Bryant, Louise Bates, Frances Chapman and Joyce Johnston.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Liberty Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:50 PM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
