Betty McCall Gilreath, 78, beloved wife of the late Charles J. Gilreath, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, April 16, 2021.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Vennie Martin McCall.
Mrs. Gilreath was retired from NationsBank (Bank of America). She was a faithful member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, The Willing Workers Sunday School Class and loved the infant children in the Mothers Morning Out Program at the church. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she enjoyed camping with her husband Charles, going to the beach, reading and going to yard sales.
Surviving are her children, Darla Gilreath Ridley and her husband, Ronnie, Dewayne Gilreath and his wife, Tammy, and Deanne Gilreath Barnes and her husband, Michael, all of Easley; grandchildren, Travis Ridley (Rachel), Bridget Gillespie (Greg), Kristen Dickard (Brent), Japheth Gilreath (Brittany), Nathan Gilreath (Kaitlyn), Samuel Gilreath, Tucker Barnes (Stevie), Griffin Barnes and Riley Barnes; great grandchildren, Reagan, Meredith and Taylor Gillespie, Skyler, Austin, Jade and Hunter Ridley, Olivia Dickard, and Skylyn, Eve and Zoe Gilreath; and brothers, Reverend Larry McCall of Belton and Stanley McCall of Easley.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with the service to follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
