Betty Jean Grant

Betty Jean Ledford Grant, 84, widow of the late Rev. Cecil Lee Grant, Sr., passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Manna Health and Rehab of Pickens.

Mrs. Grant was born on September 2, 1930 in Tusquittee, NC to the late Wade and Robie Lee Ledford. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family, enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful seamstress. Mrs. Grant had a strong love for her Church of God family, and was a member of Praise Cathedral in Greer.

Mrs. Grant is survived by a son, Cecil Lee Grant, Jr. (Joni), of Easley; a daughter, Angela Hambright (Mike), of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Jason Sparks (Tammy), Grant Rhodes (Trish), Brandon Rhodes, and Jacy Grant; and one great-grandchild, Holden Rhodes. She is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Ledford, of Tusquittee, NC; a son-in-law, Earl Rhodes, and a sister-in-law, Clarkie Grant, of Greenville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Rhodes and a brother, Charles Ledford.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2014, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown, with the Rev. Jerry Madden officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.

The family is at the residence.

The family would also like to especially thank the staff at The Willows of Easley and the staff of Manna Health and Rehab of Pickens for their kind service and care of Mrs. Grant.
