Betty Hamilton Hickey

Betty Jo Hamilton Hickey, 77, widow of L T Hickey, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Blease and Florine Mauldin Hamilton. Betty was a homemaker and attended Norris First Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed gardening, shopping at thrift stores and spending time with family.
Surviving are sons, Cecil Hickey (Annette) of Anderson and Danny Hickey of Central; daughter, Denise McGuire (Barry) of Norris; brothers, Roger Hamilton of Central, , Donnie Hamilton, Tommy Hamilton, Ricky Hamilton, David Hamilton all of Pickens, Junior Hamilton and Scottie Hamilton both of Liberty; sister, Reba Hunter of Pickens; grandchildren, Jennifer Miller (Jessi), C. J. Hickey, Marie Hickey, Hannah Hickey, Natalie Hickey, Matthew Payton (Tiffany) and Christopher Payton; and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Billy Hickey; brothers, Buddy Hamilton and Mark Hamilton; and sisters, Frances Hartsell and Sherile Hamilton.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Addis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
