Betty Jean Bowens Holloway, 77, of Preston Street, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Easley Baptist Hospital.

Born on June 28, 1940 in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Ella Fair Webb Bowens.

Betty was retired from Easley Baptist Hospital and sold Avon products for over twenty years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Easley. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and caring for family and others.

Surviving are her husband, John M. Holloway of the home; a daughter, Barbara Robinson of Easley; a nephew raised in the home, George Davis of Pickens; grandchildren, Porsha Mansell, Taylor Davis, Wesley Davis and Yolanda Anderson; a sister, Glenda Davis of Easley; and a brother, Leroy Bowens, Jr. of Easley.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Bowens and a brother, Rudy Gene Bowens.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 335 Robert P. Jeanes Rd, Easley, SC 29640.

Flowers will be accepted.

The family will be at the home.
