Betty Johnson, 70, of 132 Driftwood Court, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at her home.
Born in Alexandria VA., a daughter of the late Carlos Eugene and Mittie Inez Alexander Welborn, Mrs. Johnson was retired from retail sales and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons, Scott Johnson (Regina Balliew) of the home; David Durham of LaFrance; one daughter, Jo Ellen Turner (Paul) of Piedmont; one brother, Claude Welborn of Virginia; two sisters, Eleanor O'Shields of Liberty and Carolyn Sharp of Virginia; nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by a son Eddie Phillips, two daughters, Beth Stillwell and Marie Hall, and two brothers, Melvin and Frank Welborn.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Rev. Jeffery Harris officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her sister, Eleanor O'Shields, 105 Virginia Drive, Liberty, S.C. 29657.
