Betty Schlesinger Johnson, a former resident of Windermere, FL, and widow of Theodore S. Johnson, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Clemson Area Retirement Center, Clemson, SC.
Born in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Dr. William and Nell Mix Schlesinger, she was a former medical receptionist in Winter Garden, FL, the former Postmistress for Windermere, FL., and a graduate of Hathaway Brown Academy and the Connecticut College for Women.
Surviving are: two sons, C. Kenyon Revis-Wagner and wife, Esther, of Clemson and William Wagner and wife, Martha, of Marietta, GA; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemson Downs Volunteers, 500 Downs Loop, Clemson, SC 29631.
