Mrs. Betty Hinton Lesley, 88, wife of the late Charles William Lesley, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Charlie Francis Hinton and the late Vera Mae George Hinton, Mrs. Lesley retired from Wunda Weave Carpets, Greer with twenty-eight years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Betty loved to cook and bake, but her greatest love was for her family. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Surviving are her two sons, Randy Lesley (Ruth) of Anderson, and Jeffrey Lesley of Greenville; her two daughters, Susan Weston of Wilmington, NC, and Karen Wells (Ronnie) of Piedmont; two sisters, Lois Ledbetter of Yulee, FL, and Bobbie Turner of Westminster; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lesley was predeceased by two brothers, Jack Hinton and Bud Hinton; and three sisters, Thelma Dobbins, Georgia Mae Roberson, and Sarah Day.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Wallace Purvis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made in memory of Betty to Amedysis Hospice, 250 Commonwealth Drive, Suite 105, Greenville, SC 29615; or to the charity of one's choice.
