Betty Willis Marsengill, 82, wife of the late Bettis Marsengill, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House.

Mrs. Marsengill was born in Pickens County, and was a daughter of the late Henry and Addie Smith Willis.  She was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Vickie James (Randy) of Liberty, Darlene Wilson (Greg) of Belton and Angie Hanner (Mike) of Greenville; three sisters, Frances "Tootsie" Melton of CA, Ruby Morgan of Liberty, and Gaynelle Julian of Piedmont; son in law, Paul Oakes; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and expecting another great grandchild in June.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, June Oakes; two brothers, John and Earle Willis; one sister, Una Hughes.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 3:00 PM in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
