Betty Ruth Stephens McGaha, 77, of 1445 Breazeale Road, wife of the late John Clyde McGaha, died Thursday March 22, 2007 at her home.
Born in Central, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Alexander and Jesse Irene Craig Stephens. Mrs. McGaha retired from Sangamo Electric Company in Pickens and was a Methodist.
Surviving are her daughter, Gwen Brooks and her husband, Art, of Easley ; two brothers, Sammie Lee Stephens and Thomas Kenneth "Kent" Stephens and his wife, Oneda, all of Easley ; two sisters, Nancy McElhannon and Dorothy Anderson, both of Easley ; a grandchild, Andy Brooks, of Easley ; and two great-grandchildren,Hunter Brooks and Haley Brooks.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Donnald and a brother, Furman Arthur Stephens.
Graveside services will be 3:30 pm Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Lester Collins.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown Saturday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, before the service.
