Betty Ann Thomas Phillips, 76, of 522 Tarrant Street, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.
A native of Central, she was a daughter of the late William Claude and Hattie Greene Thomas. She worked in the Ingles Bakery for 13 years and also for American Inka. She attended Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Luther Phillips of the home; a daughter, Stacy Davis and husband Aaron of Easley; a sister, Faye Thomas Harbin of Rock Hill; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Kroeger, Jenna Johns, Jared Davis, and Caitlin Davis. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Lynn Kroeger; and a brother, Marion E. Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marathon Community Church Student Ministries; 315 Roe Road; Greenville, SC 29611.
The family is at the home.
