Betty D. Kelly Rainey

Mrs. Betty D. James Kelly Rainey, 82, wife of the late Jack Kelly and the late Harold Rainey, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 8, 2020.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Clifton James and the late Lela Leopard James, Mrs. Rainey retired from textiles and later retired from Walmart, Easley. She was a former longtime member of Calumet Baptist Church and was a current member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Betty loved Clemson football but her greatest love was her family. She will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving are a daughter, Jackie Wilson of Easley; three grandchildren, Scott Wilson (Amy) of Pendleton, Ray Wilson (Mariea) of Easley, and Regina Pennington of Easley; seven great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Anna, Mason, Jackson, Carla, Kim and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Rainey was predeceased by two infant sons; a brother, Carl James; a sister, Mary Sheriff; and a great-grandson, Henry Holder.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2020 at Liberty Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating.
The family will receive friends from Noon until 12:30 PM Monday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the graveside service.
