Betty Joyce Spake Rumler, 86, of Easley, wife of the late Ralph R. Rumler, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at her home.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Mildred McGaha Spake.

Betty was a Licensed Practical Nurse serving her community at several facilities. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, working puzzles and writing.

Surviving are her children, Mark R. Rumler (Lisa) of Easley and Cathy Rumler Duncan (Joel) of Greenville; a granddaughter, Anna Grace Rumler; sisters, Pat Spake Powell (Bill), Sue Spake Nichols (Tommy), and Shirley Spake Coley (Eddie) all of Westminster; and a brother, John W. Spake of Monroe, GA.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Clara Spake Harlan, and Sandy Spake; a sister-in-law, Cookie Spake; and a brother-in-law, Don Harlen.

A graveside service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022, in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully ask that memorials be made to any local Humane Society.
