Mrs. Betty Ruth Flynt Scism, 76, of 115 Roper Street, wife of the late Everette Lawrence Scism, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Forsyth County, NC, a daughter of the late Walter Gray and Dora Ann Krause Flynt, Mrs. Scism was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are four daughters, Tammy Suddeth of Pickens, Debbie Bell Gardner of Davis, FL, Jeannie Youngblood of Easley and Donna Bell Eller of Boone, NC; a sister, Rachel Myers of Winston-Salem, NC; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
