Betty Sparacino

Paulina Elizabeth "Betty" Zailo Sparacino, 86, formerly of Central, widow of Anthony A. Sparacino, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living in Greer, SC.
Born in Lamont, Alberta, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Annie Lazowski Zailo. Betty was a former employee of Jantzen, Inc. and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Clemson.
Surviving are two sons, Tom (Debra) Sparacino of Central and Doug (Angie) Sparacino of Greer; sister, Olive Birky of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandchildren, Jacob Sparacino and Alexa Sparacino.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, Basil Zailo; and sisters, Kay Penkauskas, Mary Fedyniak and Emily Gabinet.
Private graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens, Clemson, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1209 Brushy Creek Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
