Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Bishop Tondee, 82, widow of the late Robert O'Neal Tondee, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at her residence. A native of Richland, GA she was the daughter of the late Troy Linwood and Florrrie Parker Bishop.
She is survived by son, Michael Arthur Tondee and wife Jayne of Eatonton, GA; daughters, Susan Stukas and husband Dan of Central, Mary Jewett Hardwick and husband Mike of Gray, GA; brothers: Troy Bishop and wife Margie of Albany. GA and Parker Bishop of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren: Mary Beth Rollins, Sara Stukas, William Stukas, D. J. Stukas, Kelly Hardwick, Dustin Tondee and Emma Tondee and great-grandchild, Danielle Macy Rollins. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Robin Elaine Tondee and son, Robert O'Neal Tondee, Jr.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:30pm at the Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church in Central. Burial will be Sunday at 2pm in the Eatonton Memorial Park in Eatonton, GA. The family is as the home of daughter, Susan Stukas, 125 Mill Creek Road, Central, SC 29630.
