Betty Elizabeth Tucker, 89, of Easley, died Thursday March 5, 2009 at Countryside Village.
Miss Tucker was born in Hornell, New York, a daughter of the late Benjamin Dennis and Cora Mae Ames Tucker. She was retired from the U.S. Army where she served as a Major and was awarded the Bronze Star in W.W. II.
Surviving are her brother, Robert B. "Bob" Tucker and his wife Margie, of Easley ; and a neice, Joy Bray and her husband, Mark, of Table Rock.
A private memorial service will be held in Maggie Valley, NC at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
