Betty Sue Watson, 73, of 135 McGaha Road, went home to be with Jesus on January 16, 2006.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Hovie and Bessie Nix Barkley.
Left with loving memories are her husband of fifty-three years, Milford E. Watson of the home; a daughter, Tammy Gilstrap of Easley; grandchildren, Nathan and Nicole Gilstrap and Casey Watson all of Easley; and a great-granddaughter, Destini Gillespie; brothers, Henry Barkley of Statesville, NC, James Barkley and Connie Barkley both of Easley and Kenneth Barkley of Six Mile; sisters, Fairo Mae Chapman of Piedmont, and Linda Fink of Gilbert. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watson was predeceased by two sons, Bradley "Brad" Watson and infant Robin Lynn Watson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Doug Saylors officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
