Betty Ann Merritt White

Betty Ann Merritt White, 82, wife of the late Billy Ernest White, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019.

Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Herbert R. Merritt and the late Nannie Mae Dilworth Merritt, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother who enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of United Wesleyan Church in Easley.

Surviving are a son, Donald White (Donna) of Easley; a daughter, Cindy L. Tierno (Kenny) of Easley; sisters, Nancy Lynch of Greer and Mary Rouda of Lyman; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, James R. White; brothers, Jimmy Merritt, Jerry Merritt, and Ernest Merritt; and a sister, Virgie Jester.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the funeral home.
