Betty Boggs Williams, 94, wife of the late Norman B. "N.B." Williams, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 4, 2023.

Born in Hickory, NC, she was a daughter of the late John H. Boggs Sr. and Hester Suttles Boggs. Betty was a graduate of Easley High School and Draughon’s Business College. She was a long-standing member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class.

She was a co-owner and operator of N.B. Williams General Store as well as N.B. Williams Dairy and Farm, but her favorite job was working alongside her sister, Charlotte LaBoone, at Cochran Jewelers in Greenville.

Betty had many hobbies and interests that brought her immense happiness. She loved Western Square dancing, clogging, ballroom dancing, and flower gardening.

Betty is survived by her sons, Randy Williams (Kim) of Dacusville, and Craig Williams (Donna) of Powdersville. In addition to her sons, Betty leaves behind her grandchildren: Lisa Linnane (Patrick), Amanda Jones (James), Angela Clark (Kelly), Tara Kersting (Shane), Jacob Williams (Savanna), and Tyson Chandler (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Eden Clark, Aisling Linnane, Sean Linnane, Aine Linnane, Jarred Jones, Allie Jones, Campbell Kersting, Anne Wells Kersting, Hampton Kersting; as well as her sister, Pat Mathis of Moore, SC.

In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, Betty was preceded in death by her four brothers: Cecil, Sam, John, and Terry Boggs, as well as her sister, Charlotte LaBoone. Their memories will forever live on in Betty's heart.

To honor and remember Betty, a visitation will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Dacusville. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM in the church sanctuary.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1623 Hester Store Road, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will be at their respective homes.
