Betty N. Woodall

Betty Nix Woodall, 84, died peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2019. She was born in Rabun County, GA March 31, 1934, the daughter of Oscar and Marguerite Neely Nix. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church in Pendleton.

Miss Betty worked at Clemson University for well over 30 years as an administrative assistant and was a HUGE Tigers fan.

Betty is survived by a son, Randy (Pamela), of King's Mountain, NC; and grandson, Justin Woodall (Nicole) of Clemson; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Nix of Thomasville, NC; and a sister, Thelma Smith of Bishopville; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Clyde in 2008; a son, Roman in 2009; two brothers, L.C. Nix, and Paul Nix; and two sisters, Bea Robey, and Audrey Tindall.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, March 21 at First Baptist Church, 351 S. Broad St., Pendleton. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, in Clemson after the service.

The family will receive friends 12 noon prior to the service.
