Mrs. Beulah Cason Hiott, 97, widow of Roy Hiott, died Monday, January 2, 2006 at Palmetto Health Baptist of Easley.
Mrs. Hiott was born in Anderson County, was a daughter of the late W. F. and Ada McCoy Cason. She was a 1951 graduate of North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia. She was a former resident of Columbia where she taught for many years in the Richland County School District and was a former member of Park Street Baptist Church. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Piedmont.
Surviving are a son, Edd Hiott and wife Linda of Piedmont; a daughter, Mary Lou Helix and husband Daniel of Concord, California; a sister Faye Hiott of Pelzer; 4 granchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Easley, with a private interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia, SC to follow.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of the son Edd Hiott, 300 Travelier Trail, Piedmont, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 8 First Baptist Church Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
