Beverly Taylor Cox, 78, of Easley, passed away Monday. October 18, 2021.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Austin and Ethel Freeman Taylor.

Mrs. Cox was a graduate of Dacusville High School. She was retired from Playskool in Easley and was a member of Everlasting Covenant Church in Greenville. She enjoyed music, playing piano, singing at her church, the Easley Senior Center and was runner up in the Liberty Idol several years ago. She also had a ministry of writing letters of encouragement to US military service members and to several prisons.

Surviving are her children, Michelle Cox Cassels (Javan) of Easley and Walter Lee Cox of Greenville; grandchildren, Jennifer Dalhquest (Paul), Christopher Cox, Christen Cox Williams, Lake Bruner, Charlie Bruner and Sumpter Cassels; eleven great grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Taylor Cobb of Pickens.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sons, Wallace Randolph Cox, and William Austin Cox, and brothers, Perry D. Taylor and Ricky A. Taylor.

A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2021, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.
