Bill Berry Holcombe, 92, of Saluda Dam Road, husband of Dorothy Quinn Holcombe, passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015.

Mr. Holcombe was retired from the US Navy after 30 Years of dedicated service to his country. Following retirement, he was employed with the US Postal Service for 13 years.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years; his children, Michael Holcombe (Jan) of Easley, Marveen Helms (Brent) of Columbia, Daniel Holcombe (Helen) of Easley, William Wilder (Fran) of N. Charleston, SC, Jeffery Wilder (Julie) of Greenville, Barbara Lane (William) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Matthew Wilder (Sue) of Summerville, SC and Dottie Small (Chris) of Mebane, NC; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Buck M. Holcombe (Margaret) of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Aline M. Holcombe and a son, Bill Berry Holcombe, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at George's Creek Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

The burial with full military honors will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home.
