William Richard Upchurch, 87, of Easley, husband of Faye Ethel Blythe Upchurch, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born March 11, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA., he was a son of the late John and Jessie Mae Simmons Upchurch. Mr. Upchurch was a US Navy veteran serving in WWII and was a retired supervisor with Judson Mills.
In addition to his wife of sixty-eight years, he is survived by his son, Rick Upchurch (Connie); and daughter, Denise Reeves (Michael), brother, Joe Upchurch; sister, Elva Thomason; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
