Mr. Billy Ray Bowen, 86, husband of the late Kay McCall Bowen, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Oscar David Bowen and the late Clessie Reece Bowen, Mr. Bowen retired from Platt Saco Lowell with more than fifteen years of service and attended Easley First Wesleyan Church. He was a US Army Veteran.
Surviving, are his son, David Bowen and his wife, Angela, of Taylors; and his sister, Joan Bowen Perry of Newberry. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Bowen was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Melton Bowen and Robert "Bobby" Bowen.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Scroll to the video player below to view the service. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family request social distancing take place for the visitation and the funeral service.
