Billy Haney, 88, of Pendleton, husband to Virginia Haney, passed away July 13, 2023.

Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Gracie Ladd Haney. Mr. Haney worked in the textile industry, landscaping industry and retired from Carolina Paint Company. He was an active member of East Clemson Community Fellowship. Billy loved going fishing at Santee, gardening and riding his golf cart.

He is survived by his wife of sixty seven years, Virginia Porter Haney; sons, Steve D. Haney (Paula) and Timothy D. Haney (Cathy); grandchildren, Tonya Thomason (Ronnie), Jeremy Haney, Josh Haney (Jessica), Selena Haney (Colby) and Magen Dorius (Kyle). Mr. Haney is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Billy was predeceased by his parents and son, Danny R. Haney.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at East Clemson Community Fellowship.

Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the Haney family.
