Born in Greenville, SC a son of Billy Ralph Stansell, Sr. and the late Linda Marlene Sargent Stansell Howard, he was a carpenter and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Graham of Columbia; a daughter, Cindy Brickle of Pryor, OK; granddaughters, Jessamine and Kirsten Brickle; his father and step-mother, Peggy Stansell of Easley; brothers, Randall Stansell of Irmo and Michael Stansell of Greenville, Kenneth Crain of Gray Court, Rick Nigel and Nick Mahaffey of Columbia and Tony Mahaffey of Spartanburg; sisters, Sherri Bailey of Shady Side, MD, Debbie Hampton of Columbia, Rebecca Lovin of Mars Hill, NC, Linda McCall of Greer, Terri Howard of Greenville.
Services will be 2 PM, Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, 104 S. First Street, Easley with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Billy Stansell Memorial Fund in care of Robinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
