Billy H. Towe, Clemson
Billy "Papa Billy" Harrison Towe, 74, husband of Grace Smith Towe of 418 Frontage Road died Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Regency Hospital in Greenville. A native of Oconee County, he was a son of the late Lee Thomas and Julia Evatt Towe. He retired after 30 years of service at Ole Norms and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of East Clemson Baptist Church and loved gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Freddy Towe and his wife Tammy of Clemson; brother, Bob L. Towe, Sandy Springs; grandchildren, Brittany and Logan Towe, Dustin and Heather Yorty, Rick Truman and his wife Amanda; 1 great grandchild, Emily Truman and a very special nephew, Bobby Towe, Jr. and his wife Margaret and their daughters McKenzie and Kendall.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2pm at East Clemson Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Old Stone Church Cemetery. The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm and will be placed in the church on Tuesday at 1pm.
