Billy Ernest White

Billy Ernest White, 84, husband of the late Betty Ann Merritt White, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020.
Born in Lincolnton, NC, a son of the late Jeff W. White and the late Virgie Morgan White, he was a welding supplies salesman for many years and proudly served his country in the Korean War with the US Army. Mr. White attended United Wesleyan Church in Easley.
Surviving are a son, Donald L. White (Donna) of Easley; a daughter, Cindy L. Tierno (Kenny) of Easley; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a son, James R. White; and a brother, William Fred White.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Wesleyan Church, 738 Rice Road, Easley, SC 29640 or to the Dementia Society of America at dementiasociety.org.
