Mrs. Blanche Crisp Wallace Boyce, 98, formerly of Pine Street, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at NHC Mauldin.
Born March 9, 1908 in Johnson City, Tennessee, Mrs. Boyce was a daughter of the late John Murray and Julia Bailey Crisp. She was a graduate of Greer High School and retired from R.P. Turner Company. Mrs. Boyce was a member of First Baptist Church, Greer.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Judy W. and Nathan L. Brewer, of Valdosta, Georgia; a sister, Alma C. Carter, of Easley; a granddaughter, Jill H. Wentworth and her husband, John; a grandson-in-law, Jack Farmer, Jr.; and five great-grandchildren, Samantha, Susannah, and Laura Wentworth; and Joseph and Jacqueline Farmer. Mrs. Boyce was predeceased by her first husband, Steven Decatur Wallace and her second husband, H. Spurgeon Boyce; by two sisters, Beulah Crisp Shore and Margie Crisp James Clark; and by a granddaughter, Joyce H. Farmer.
Graveside services were held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Mountain View Cemetery, Greer, where the family received friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Music Ministry Fund, 202 W. Poinsett Street, Greer, S.C. 29650.
