Blanche Elizabeth Thomas Phillips, 65, of 128 Miller Kids Drive, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at her home.
Born in Transylvania County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Edward I. and Polly Moss Thomas. She worked as a weaver at the Arial Plant of Alice Manufacturing and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Anita Roberts and her fiance Bryan Edens, Elizabeth Pitt and her husband, Danny, Della Wyatt and her husband, Jeff; a brother, Glen I. Thomas; three sisters, Lois White and her husband, Sam, Stella Breedlove and her husband Gordon, Jr., Nettie Breedlove and her husband Clyde, all of Pickens; and seven grandchildren, Mechelle, Ashley, Erika, Brianna, John, Mickey, Teddie and Jeffrey. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Jerry Phillips.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Gary Pindroh officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd., Suite 101, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
