Bobbie Jo Head, daughter of the late Elbert and Ellen Whittle Head went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Born in Central, SC, she was a graduate of Daniel High School before she attended Draughon Business College in Greenville. Bobbie worked as a general manager at ACME Wholesalers in San Antonio, Texas before her retirement.
Described as an independent individual with a heart of gold, Bobbie was always taking care of her family and offering them unwavering support. Her love extended to her nieces and nephews, whom she cherished dearly as if they were her own children. In her free time, Bobbie found joy in hard work and the great outdoors, and spending quality time with her family brought her immense happiness.
She leaves behind her sister Thelma Jones, her sister-in-law Donna Head, and a multitude of loving nieces and nephews; Mark Jones (Sydney), Benji Jones (Dana), Gigi Bowen (John), Larry Rampey (Carrie), Janet Brothers, Alan Rampey (Jackie), Cindy Stricker (Matt); as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her brother Gene Head, her sister Eloise Rampey, her nephew Mike Jones, and her nephew-in-law Stan Brothers.
A visitation to honor Bobbie will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 12:00PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 12:30PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 586 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630.
