Bobbie Jean Nations Lamb, 78, of 104 Melissa Court and wife of the late Lacy Ray Lamb, passed away Tuesday September 24, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Larry and May Belle Roe Nations. She was a former employee at Fiber Industries for 10 years and a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, the W.M.U. Director and was a member of the choir and the Senior Citizens Group.
Surviving are her son, Richard R. Tyson and his wife, Cathy, of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter, Connie Tyson Rozier, of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Douglas Nations and his wife, Gail, and Kenneth Nations, all of Easley and Billy Nations, of Greenville; three sisters, Reba Moore, of Greenville, Judy Davenport, of Powdersville and Sheila Dobson, of Easley; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David W. Tyson and two brothers, Donald Nations and Larry Nations, Jr.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10:00 AM Friday in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Reverend Shane Donald officiating.
Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
