Bobby Joe Brewer

Bobby Joe Brewer, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 with family by his side. He was born January 26, 1938 in Habersham County, Georgia, a son of Robert E. and Edith Magnolia Burton Brewer.

Bobby worked in the textile industry his entire life. When he wasn't working Bobby enjoyed fishing, golfing, and working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Stewart Brewer; two sons Barry Brewer (Kim) of Easley, and Danny Brewer of Easley; three daughters, Trina Hoffert (Steve) of Greenwood, Terri Tharrington (Rick) of Goldsboro, NC, and Cathy Medlock (Don) of Myrtle Beach; three brothers, Lamar Brewer (Leta) of Pendleton, Tommy Brewer of LaFrance, and Major Brewer of Pendleton; two sisters, Brenda Powell (Wayne) of Easley and Linda Long (Phillip) of Anderson; four grandchildren, Blake Hoffert, Jeffrey Medlock, Angie Medlock, and Ricky Tharrington; and several great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Thanks to Pat Stewart Brewer's children for accepting and loving our father and brother: Eugene Stewart (Lucy) of Anderson, Debbie (Buster) Thrasher and Charlie (Rhonda) Stewart, and their families of Pendleton.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by a brother, Morris Brewer; and a sister, Ethelene Harper.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 5 in the chapel at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Courtney Newry Memorial Cemetery in Seneca.
