Bobby "Bob" Sheriff, 80, husband of Judy Chandler Sheriff, went to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, December 15, 2020.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Rosamond and Mae Day Sheriff. He was the owner and operator for over forty years of Sheriff's Appliance Center. Mr. Sheriff was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves and National Guard. Bob enjoyed guns, fishing and tractors. Most of all he loved his family. His grandchildren were especially important to him.
He is survived by his wife of almost sixty one years, Judy Chandler Sheriff; son, Scott Sheriff (Andrea); daughter, Bonnie Sheriff Stewart (Ronnie); grandchildren, Shay Vinson (Derek), Chad Stewart, Andrew Sheriff (Mollie Eichstaedt) and Erica Sheriff; great grandchildren, Landen Vinson and Laney Vinson.
Bob was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Brenda Sheriff Brown.
No formal visitation will take place but friends may pay their respects to Mr. Sheriff on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 attendees are asked to wear a mask and social distancing will be required.
