Bobby Benton Weaver, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home.


Mr. Weaver was born in Toccoa, GA, and was a son of the late George B. and Blanche Smith Weaver Barrett and husband, of the late Mary Barnes Weaver.


He worked for Central Textiles, served in the U. S. Army and was member of Central Church of God.


Surviving are one son, James Weaver and his wife, Barbara, of Norris; three daughters, Kathy  Whitman of Pendleton, Christine Weaver of Central, and Margaret Chappell and her husband, Junior, of Norris; ten grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren; three brothers, George Barrett of Blue Ridge, John Barrett of Easley, and Roy Lee Barrett of Liberty; two sisters, Katherine Moody of Easley, and Ollie Mae Grant of Central.


In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Betty Sue Barrett; son in law, Ed Whitman.


Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.


The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
