Boel Marie Cecilia Johansson Traeff, 68, wife of Thomas Simpson Klugh, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Monsteras, Sweden, she was the daughter of the late Ake and IngMarie Johansson. She was a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School as well as a graduate of pharmacy technical training (Sweden). Boel was a pharmacy technician with Oskarshamn Apoteket from age 19 until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of the Swedish Church and the Grimhild Women's Club (Sweden). Boel enjoyed sports of all kinds, both as a participant and spectator, particularly enjoying walking and skiing. She was a supportive, loyal, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter, Cecilia Traeff (Johan) Williams and two grandchildren, Maja Traeff Williams and Manfred Traeff Williams of Oskarshamn, Sweden and her daughter, Catrine Traeff of Stockholm, Sweden; also surviving is a sister, Britt Johansson, and a niece, Emma Johansson both of Okno, Sweden.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Sweden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Greenville Hospital System Cancer Institute, Seneca, SC , or the Oncology Unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greeenville, SC.
