Bolt M. White, Jr.

Bolt "Junior" McBryde White, Jr., 78, of 506 Robinhood Drive, died Monday, November 9, 2009 at Oconee Medical Center.
Born in Slabtown Community of Anderson County, he was the son of the late Bolt M. Sr. and Pauline Patterson White. He was a former sheet metal worker, a member of the Seneca Masonic Lodge, attended Refuge Baptist Church, was a US Army veteran of Korea and Vietnam, and a retired SFC with the US Army Reserves.
Surviving are a son, Randy White; and a daughter, Becky White both of the home; a brother, James Turner of Greenville; five sisters, Virginia Hembree of Simpsonville, Tallie Allred of Cheraw, Eloise Phillips and Evelyn Treadway both of Greenville, and June Brown of Anderson.
In addition to his parents, and his wife, Lula Katherine Hoxit White, he was predeceased by his step-mother, Henrietta Fendley White; a brother Floyd White; and two sisters, Marie Starnes and Geneva Bryant.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday at Refuge Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will take place in the church fellowship hall immediately following the committal service.
The body will be placed in the church at 12 noon Thursday.
The family will be at their respective homes.
