Bonnie Lucille Hendricks, a loving and caring lady, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2023, at her residence. She was born on July 5, 1930, in Alma, Georgia and spent her childhood years in Broxton, Georgia.

Bonnie led a fulfilling life and had a successful career as a cosmetologist. Beyond her professional achievements, Bonnie will be remembered for the warmth and compassion she exuded. She had an exceptional ability to make everyone around her feel loved and appreciated. Her genuine care for others touched the lives of many and left an indelible impact on their hearts.

In her leisure time, Bonnie found joy in spending quality moments with her family and friends. Embracing the values of her Baptist faith, she valued the power of connection and cherished the bonds she formed throughout her life.

Bonnie Hendricks' passing is mourned by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; Albert I. Johnson and Lottie "Dottie" Gasque; as well as her husband, William "Bill" Nelson Hendricks. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Augerton; a brother, Junior Johnson; and a sister Fonnie Hall.

Bonnie's memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family members: her son, Victor Moore and daughter-in-law Barbara Moore: a son Phillip Moore; grandchildren, Kevin Hausfeld, Damon Hausfeld, Angie Hausfeld; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Throughout Bonnie's life journey, her family remained dedicated to ensuring that she received the utmost care during her final days. Her peaceful passing was made more comfortable with loved ones at her side.

 

A private burial will be held at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.  A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

As Bonnie use to say, Life takes many turns, but as our lives hit holes, she was the grace that laced itself when lives were torn apart. We will miss the wings of her compassion. The end of the road has come and it’s time to say goodbye. Love You Dearly!!
