Bonnie Fendley Harkins

Mrs. Bonnie Lee Fendley Harkins, 89, wife of the late James Edward Harkins, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, March 7, 2022.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Leonard Richard Fendley and the late Damie Holliday Fendley, Mrs. Harkins was a graduate of Six Mile High School and graduated Draughon's Business College where she earned her Associate Degree in Accounting. She retired from the Medical Center of Easley with forty-two years of service and later retired from Oaktree Medical with ten years of service. Bonnie was a longtime member of Easley First Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She served as past President of both the State and Pickens County Medical Assistant Associations.
Surviving are her son, Ronald E. "Ronnie" Harkins of Easley; and her sister, Louise F. Hunter of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harkins was predeceased by a brother, Richard Fendley; three step-brothers, Cleo Fendley, Melvin Fendley and Tillman Fendley; and a step-sister, Mary Bolding.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
