Bonnie Lou Powers

Bonnie Powers, 71, of Easley, SC, daughter of the late Raymond C. Jackson and Helen Jackson , went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Born in Fauquier, VA. She always placed people before herself. She treated everyone like family, and knew no stranger. She loved working alongside her husband whether it was taking care of paperwork or shoveling gravel. If she did get to relax she loved playing Mexican train, township, and many different card games. She was known by her family for her love of shopping and finding a good deal, collecting Hallmark Christmas ornaments, and taking pictures of her family. Her greatest earthly love was spending time with her four grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by the love of her life, James D Powers Sr, who she called “Buddy." They shared an amazing love together for over 53 years, four children; James D. Powers Jr of Berryville, VA, Jeff M.Powers (Emily) of Easley, SC, Wanda E. Byrne (David) of Easley, SC, Jesse A. Powers of Bowman, GA; a sister, Lisa Calhoun of Lexington, SC; four grandchildren, Samantha Byrne, Megan Powers, Allison Powers, and Matthew Byrne. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister; Dolores Mullins, and a grandson; Nikolai James Byrne.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Rd, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Funeral Service will be held at Rock Springs Baptist Church on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow the service in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens. Powdersville Rd, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
