Boyce Lee Jarrett, 72, of 4414 Old Easley Bridge Road, died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at his home.

Born in Woodruff, he was the son of the late Gaino and Inez Lawrence Jarrett. He was retired as a night Superintendent at Abney Mills in Woodruff after holding supervisory positions at the Abney Mills Plant in Woodruff, the Toxaway Plant, Southside Plant in Anderson, and the Brandon Rayon Plant in Greenville. After his retirement, he continued working at Dan River in Simpsonville and was the Owner/Operator of Woodruff Variety Shop in Woodruff. He attended Woodruff High School and attended college while working for Abney Mills. He was a member of Crosswell First Baptist Church in Greenville and was a life member of Bethel Lodge #112 AFM in Woodruff.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Elzaria Hanna Jarrett of the home; a son, Greg Jarrett of Easley; a daughter, Kathy Jarrett Cantrell of Liberty; three grandchildren, Kela Simpson, Adam Cantrell, both of Liberty, Hunter Jarrett of Easley; and a great-grandchild, Kadence Simpson of Liberty.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Woodruff.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
