Brenda Joyce Reese Brackett, 70, of 116 Hummingbird Lane and wife of the late Robert Lee Brackett, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Brackett was born in Buncombe County, NC, to the late John Carter and Velma Evans Reese. She was a housekeeping supervisor at Springbrook Behavioral Health Facility for over 25 years and was a Methodist.
Surviving are her son, Lee Taylor, of Asheville, NC; a daughter, Alice Garrett (Daniel), of Easley, SC; brothers, Jimmy Reese, of Washington State, Ricky Seay, of Buncombe County, NC and Joe Seay, of Marietta, SC; sisters, Jean Crumley and Judy Bray, both of Douglasville, GA; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Saturday January 17, 2015 at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
The family is at the home.
