Brenda Burton

Brenda R. Burton, 76, of 113 Carmen Way Easley, SC, wife of the late Ronnie W. Burton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 11, 2024. 

Brenda was born on  April 21, 1948, in Union, SC, but grew up in Williston, SC. She was a daughter of the late Doris Franklin Raye and Jesse E. Raye. Brenda is survived by her daughter; Dana Nash (Matthew) and three sons, Ashley Burton, Todd Burton (Lisa), and Dr. Christopher Burton (Tracie); ten grandchildren, Reagan Stack (Aubrey), Austin Malone, Kelly Harless (Austin), Clifton Burton, Drake Burton, Evan Burton (Catelyn), Angelina Burton, Casey Burton, Grant Burton, Lucas Burton; three great-grandchildren, Tristan Harless, Bedivere Harless and Rowan Stack; sisters, Linda Howell, and Happy Parker (Glenn); Nephew, Chris Sloan (Tammie), and Niece Heather Howell Grant (Randall).

 In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Jane Reyner, Reesa Driver, and niece Heidi Howell Epps. Brenda graduated from Radiology school in Anderson, SC and worked for St. Francis Hospital as an X-Ray Technician before retiring. Brenda was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She lit up every room she walked in with her contagious smile. She was the epitome of a southern hostess, with a formidable gift of hospitality. She was one of the most generous and thoughtful people. Friendships were always important to her; she had many friends and was a great friend to many. She loved her family and her precious Yorkshire Terrier, Cooper.

 Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Siloam Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Siloam Baptist Church.
