Brenda Joyce Harding Fortner, 62, of 104 Glenda Lane, died Wednesday September 27, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Summerville, she was a daughter of the late Robert Cecil and Inez Willis Harding. She worked as a tobacco store manager and was a member of Summerville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Nelson Fortner of the home; a son, Kevin Poindexter of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Healan of Greenville, Cynthia Anderson of Summerville; two brothers, Michael J. Harding, Willis Cecil Harding, both of Summerville; a sister, Phyllis JoAnn Nease of Summerville; and five grandchildren, Savannah Healan, Samantha Healan, Micheal Healan, Sara Anderson, and James D. Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Harding and Theodore Harding.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
