Mrs. Brenda Lou Sloan Holden, 78, wife of the late Jimmy Dale Holden, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Born in Mullins, SC a daughter of the late Roy Sloan and the late Viola Barnes Sloan, Mrs. Holden received her Associate Degree in nursing from Greenville Technical College and was a retired Registered Nurse from Cannon Memorial Hospital . She was a member of Relentless Church.

Brenda loved animals, the outdoors, shooting her bow and arrow and camping, but her greatest love was for her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Surviving are her two sons, Harold "Hal" Hunter, Jr. (Crystal), and Chad  Anthony Hunter (Tammy), both of Easley; her daughter, Kimberly J. Keith (Roger) of  Cleveland, TN; her two sisters, Betty Merck of Easley, and Joyce Dellinger of Hendersonville, NC; and her grandchildren, Tyler Hunter, Katelyn Hunter, Victoria Hunter and Anthony Hunter. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Holden was predeceased by three brothers, Wayne Sloan, Elton Sloan and Harold Sloan; and two sisters, Margaret Jones and Frances James.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2023 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Thomas Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
