Brenda Kelsay Leaphart, Of Sevierville TN, a kind and caring soul, passed away on May 31, 2025. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Thomas A. Kelsay and Carolyn Shultz Stewart.
Brenda was known for her love of crocheting, a hobby that filled her life with creativity. She also enjoyed attending live music.
Above all, Brenda was proud of her family, cherishing the moments they spent together and the bonds they formed. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she gave to everyone she met.
Brenda is survived by her cherished husband Preston A. Leaphart of Sevierville Tn; son, Joshua C. Peek (Trista) of Pendleton SC; daughters, Brandy Ayers, Selisa Kelsay, Breanna Kelsay, and Brenna Kelsay of Sevierville TN; sisters, Sharon Armes of Sevierville Tn, and Donna Kelsay Pendleton SC; Grandchildren, Justice (Will), Robert (Cally), Jenna, Caleb (Alex), Landon, Maddy, Drew (Rasia), Justin, Emily, Jason, Adrain, Elijah, Payton; Great Grandchild Alita; Special friends Rob Shirley (Becky) Angie Conley(Dale), Kristina Gold, and baby Ayers to be.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is predeceased in death by granddaughter Elizabeth Rebekkah Fowler; son in law James Ayers; and Step-Father Arthur Lee Stewart.
The visitation will be on Saturday June 7th from 3:00 – 3:45 pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow visitation in the funeral home chapel starting at 4 PM. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, of Clemson, SC.
