Brenda Lowery

Brenda Corley Lowery, 72, loving wife to Don Lowery, of Easley, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Mrs. Lowery was born on February 14, 1942, in Easley to the late John William and Margaret Williams Corley. Mrs. Lowery was a graduate of Ninety Six High School and spent her life as a homemaker. She loved sports and traveling to the mountains. Mrs. Lowery was also an avid Clemson Tigers Fan, and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, and the Irene Cely Sunday School Class.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lowery is survived by two sons; Mike Lowery (Sonja), of Easley, and Kyle Lowery (Angie) of Williamston; a brother, Sam "Sammy" Corley (Ann Carol) of Ninety Six; and a sister, Lou Ann Corley, of Ninety Six. Mrs. Lowery is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Pace, Nick, Maggie, and Emily.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Stephen Taylor and the Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Irene Cely Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church Building Fund, 516 Piedmont Rd, Easley, SC 29642.

The family is at the home of her son, 101 Pelzer Avenue, Williamston, SC 29697.
