Brenda Marlene Cantrell RhodesAnderson, SCMrs. Brenda Marlene Cantrell Rhodes, 61, of 112 La France Road, Anderson, loving wife of Ricky Rhodes, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Brenda was born in Oconee County on September 24, 1954 to the late Clyde and Minnie Johnson Cantrell. She was the former owner and operator of Short Stop Grill in Anderson and in her free time she loved to camp or to travel to the mountains, especially Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children; Shane Rhodes of Anderson, Casey Rhodes of the home, and Shannon Gentle (Tom) of Pendleton; her brothers and sisters; Bobby Cantrell of Anderson, Sam Cantrell of Pendleton, and Linda Wilbanks of Anderson; and eight grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Ray Cantrell. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Duckett - Robinson Funeral Home, Central. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. The family is at the residence.
